Memorandum of Understanding signed with Pipeline Industries Guild

On the 29th July we announced an agreement to work collaboratively with The Pipeline Industries Guild on joint activities to further our common aims.

Dr Philippa Parmiter, Managing director of Decarb Scotland commented, ‘We are delighted to announce that Decarb Scotland has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Pipeline Industries Guild, enabling increased collaboration between our organisations for the benefit of our respective members. Together, we will work closely to promote good practice, foster skills development, and support the growth of a resilient and inclusive supply chain through networking and knowledge sharing – particularly around the development of new, and repurposing of existing, pipelines to transport CO2 and hydrogen, amongst other new vectors for the energy transition and industrial decarbonisation.’

Kate Lazenby, Executive Director, The Pipeline Industries Guild said: “Strong partnerships are essential if we are to address the challenges facing our industry and unlock the opportunities created by the transition to a lower-carbon economy. We are therefore delighted to establish this strategic partnership with Decarb Scotland. Their values closely align with our own, and we look forward to working together to support innovation, develop talent and foster collaboration that benefits both our members and the wider pipeline community.”
